Albarino Tasting – Episode 51
July 12, 2012 in Videos
When talking about Spanish wine in general I say a very loud “Viva la Espana!” In this episode I taste an Albarino wine from the Rias Baixas region. Break out the shellfish people.
Wine Tasted:
Visual: Straw yellow and clear
Nose: Wet stone, chalk, and peach
Palate: The chalk and wet stone come through on the palate along with a bit of lemon zest. Overall, not much fruit and more of the stone/chalk notes.
